Community Cricket

The Western Australian Cricket Association manages junior cricket in the Perth Metropolitan area through the Community Junior Cricket Council (CJCC).

CNCC fields Community Cricket teams for boys from Year 4 up to Year 11, and for girls in Years 4/5, 6/7, 8/9 and 10/11/12 age groups.

Community Cricket is a fun way for boys and girls to play cricket with their friends.

Usually, volunteer parents will coach and manage the teams, with CNCC arranging for coaches to undertake free of charge the 3 hour Level 1 Coaching course to assist them with coaching the team in a fun and engaging way. CNCC’s coaching staff also provides assistance to our Community coaches and players.

The age group cut-off date is the 30th June; So whatever school year your child is in at that date will determine what age group they will play this season.

Rules

The individual age group rules for Community Cricket can be found at the CJCC website here: http://cjcc.wa.cricket.com.au/
