Emerging Tigers Program
The Emerging Tigers Program is a new initiative to develop the skills of selected U/13 and U/14 CNCC Community Cricket players who aspire to play District Cricket for CNCC.
The aim of the program is to bridge the gap between Community Cricket and District Cricket by giving selected CNCC players, who are not currently in the District program, the opportunity to train with high quality coaches and use excellent facilities.
Players in the Emerging Tigers program can be made available for District Cricket selection throughout the season if opportunities and form allow.
CNCC Community team coaches will also be invited to observe and participate in Emerging Tigers' training sessions to further develop their coaching skills and knowledge of the District program.
Players will be selected to train together over 10 sessions throughout the season, mostly on Wednesday afternoons. It is also planned that the Emerging Tigers Program will play games against other clubs to be arranged throughout the season.
Further information will be provided to players who are offered places in the Program.
